First building at Long Run Creek Condominiums sold out
Mar 30, 2001 - With the pending closeout of its first 12-unit building at Long Run Creek Condominiums, Gallagher & Henry has begun accepting contracts on two-bedroom condominiums in its second building. This secure community, with easy access to great shopping and restaurants in Orland Park, offers homebuyers an opportunity to own a maintenance-free home in an elevator-equipped building from only $164,000.
Long Run Creek Condominiums is located on the north side of 143rd street, approximately 3/4 of a mile west of Wolf Road. Upon completion, Gallagher & Henry's community will consist of six 16-unit buildings, and two 12-unit buildings, for a total of 120 residences. The soon to be completed decorated model offers approximately 1,600 square feet of living space and reflects the style of homes to be found in the full masonry buildings.
The first families are scheduled to move into their new homes in April 2001. The first phase of Gallagher & Henry's community will consist of four buildings that are three and four stories in height. All four buildings will be clustered around an attractively landscaped courtyard, and supplied with Chicago water. With elevators providing easy access from the heated underground parking garage to all the floors, these buildings will provide a comfortable environment for all homeowners.
Each building will be constructed of solid brick masonry with energy efficient insulation in all exterior walls. For added energy conservation, insulated patio doors and windows are installed in each home. Because of careful planning, all homes in the community are highly desirable corner units, which allows an abundance of windows to be installed in each home. Buyers will also find an abundance of luxuries like fireplaces in the living rooms and whirlpool tubs with separate showers in the master bath suites. Each residence also features a formal dining room, well-equipped kitchen, extended breakfast area with bay window and private laundry room.
All homes come with standard features such as wall-to-wall carpeting, oak doors and trim, furniture-quality cabinets, ceramic tile in foyer and baths, central air conditioning, dishwasher, food disposer, gas oven/range, vented range hood and private balcony. Residents will also appreciate the community's maintenance-free lifestyle, as well as Long Run Creek's proximity to outstanding transportation, shopping and recreational amenities.
Long Run Creek is minutes from Orland Square Mall, churches, hospitals, golf courses, tennis/racquetball clubs and fine restaurants. It also offers convenient access to the interstate highway system, and the Metra train station is only minutes away from each homeowner's doorstep.
