Condo Models Now Open at Goodings Grove in Homer Glen

Sep 23, 2005 - You’ve worked hard and now it’s time to reward yourself with a relaxing new way of life. If you want someone to care for the lawn and you want someone to shovel the snow in the winter, you are now ready for a virtually maintenance-free lifestyle and the new luxury Goodings Grove Condominium Community in Homer Glen has just what you are looking for!

Goodings Grove is celebrating the grand opening of two fully furnished models in this luxury condominium community. These models are open for viewing daily from 10 to 6 p.m. and from 10 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

Located at 14100 Sheffield Drive in prestigious Homer Glen, the stately 16-unit condominium buildings are nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Yet, this maintenance-free community is convenient to important necessary services. Shopping, churches, restaurants and transportation are nearby.

The innovative floor plans, with approximately 1,600 square feet of living area, include two bedrooms and two full baths. The spacious top-floor units feature a roomy loft and extra storage space. This adds approximately 200 square feet to the exciting floor plan. The loft floor plans also include two extra closets and vaulted ceilings in the living room and the kitchen. The oversized loft, or “bonus room” measures approximately 23’x12’6 and is flooded with natural light streaming through two skylights.

Priced from the $250.000’s, the two bedroom, two bath condominiums include an indoor heated, well-lit parking garage that includes an enclosed storage area. The floor plans feature: a large kitchen with bayed breakfast area furnished with top name appliances; fireplace; whirlpool tub; formal dining room with tray ceiling (per plan); oak trim; in-unit laundry room; oversized balcony and much more.

“These innovative floor plans offer all of the privacy of a single family home but give the residents the added luxury of a virtually maintenance-free lifestyle,” said Linda Reichert, sales manager at the Goodings Grove condominium community.

“The heated indoor parking area, where you don’t have to leave the building to get to your car, is a real boost. It’s especially welcome in the winter and during the rainy spring and hot summer months and that extra storage area is a big bonus,” added Reichert.

Each building is constructed of solid brick masonry with energy-efficient insulation in all of the exterior walls. For added energy conservation, insulated windows and patio doors are installed in each unit.

The open, airy floor plans, where space does its part to foster a relaxed casual lifestyle, have no artificial barriers to stifle easy interactions.

Few kitchens rival these for beauty and design. The rooms, which flow seamlessly into a bay-windowed breakfast room, are clad with furniture-quality cabinets and top name appliances.

The large living rooms, with twin sliding glass doors that surround the fireplace, open to the formal dining rooms.

The master bedroom suites evoke a sense of tranquility. They include a luxurious private bath with a corner whirlpool tub and separate shower.

Gallagher & Henry, one of the most respected homebuilders throughout the southwest suburban area, builds homes with imagination and environmental sensitivity, using only the finest materials and expert craftsmanship. The builder’s primary goal is total customer satisfaction.

To visit the Goodings Grove condominiums and tour the professionally decorated models, take 143rd Street west to Sheffield Drive (just east of Bell Road). Turn north to 14100 Sheffield Drive.
