G & H breaks ground for new townhomes in Lemont

Dec 28, 2000 - Ground has been broken and construction is underway for the first townhomes in Lemont's newest maintenance-free community, Covington Knolls Townhomes. Planned for only 40-upscale townhomes with basements, the two-story and ranch homes are pre-construction priced from $202,225 to $213,825 and offer up to 2,165 square feet of living space. Pre-construction sales are being conducted from Gallagher & Henry's semi-custom, single-family home community in Lemont, Covington Knolls. These luxury townhomes will offer two or three bedrooms, 2 or 2 1/2 baths, thoughtfully designed kitchen, convenient laundry room, full basement and attached finished two-car garage.

Covington Knolls Townhomes will feature three spacious floor plan designs that offer 1,560 to 2,165 square feet of living space, but more storage and living space is available if homebuyers decide to finish the full basement. Standard interior features include volume ceilings (per plan), central air conditioning, oak doors and trim, kitchen appliances (gas range, garbage disposal and dishwasher). Optional available amenities include: fireplaces, pocket doors, skylights, hardwood flooring and many cabinet upgrades.
